Baby Play Mats

Physical Therapist’s Tip: Ensure that the play mat you choose provides ample space for your baby to move, roll, and explore freely.

Interlocking Foam Mats.

For a customizable play area, consider interlocking foam mats. These versatile mats allow you to create a personalized space that adapts as your baby grows, promoting safety and comfort.

Single Piece Foam Mats.

Solid single-piece foam mats offer a sleek and durable solution. This is my preferred style of play mat because they tend to stand the test of time, pets, and kids, better than interlocking foam mats. They are easy to wipe clean, and perfect for messier play.

Padded Mats.

Excellent for beginner tummy time and small tumbles. Padded mats provide luxurious comfort and cushioning for your baby's playtime. They are smaller in surface area than other styles and could be used through your child’s early years in a comfy reading corner. Faux or Vegan leather versions are easy to wipe down.

Tumble Mats.

For tummy time and active play, tumble mats are a fantastic choice that will grow with your baby through childhood. Folding tumble mats are a fun addition to fort-building and can be easily stowed away.

Quilted Mats.

Convenient for travel or simply moving from room to room, and easy to stow away when not in use. Quilted play mats are a versatile option that is well suited for beginner tummy time. Quilted vegan leather surfaces can easily be wiped clean and fabric options can be added to the laundry.
