Encourage Your Baby to Pull Up to Stand

Baby pulling up to stand at furniture in order to learn to cruise along furniture before learning to walk.

There's this phase between crawling and walking when your baby is discovering SO many micro-milestones.

But you don't often hear people talking about these micro-milestones. So this week on instagram, I shared about what happens between crawling and walking. And my tip for you this week helps babies with the first micro-milestone after crawling…

Try this:

Move all your baby's toys off the floor and up onto the couch.

One of the first micro-milestones between crawling and walking is pulling to stand. By placing your baby's toys up on the couch, it will encourage them to crawl over and attempt to pull up to stand at this supportive surface.
